Dunbar Village is a retirement community which offers various levels of care to elders; Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitative Care.

Dunbar Village
Dunbar Village is an environment planned to respond to people who are in need of nursing care and assistance with their activities of daily living. The staff administers medications and performs treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
Dunbar Village is certified for participation in Medicare & Medicaid program and is licensed by The Mississippi State Department of Health.
Dunbar Village Nursing & Rehabilitative Care
The monthly fee includes these services:
- Private or semi-private rooms, furnished or unfurnished
- Three meals a day & between meal snacks
- Medication administration
- Assistance with dressing, bathing and grooming
- Daily housekeeping
- Laundry
- Activity program
- Licensed nurse services
- Consultant Registered Dietician
- All utilities
Services available for an additional charge:
- Cable TV
- Barber and beauty shop
- Guest meals
- Personal telephone
Rehabilitative care is delivered by a team of committed professionals with years of experience. A homelike atmosphere coupled with a caring staff creates an environment which complements the delivery of therapy.
Therapy Services
- Physical Therapy (gait training, transfer training, wound care)
- Speech Therapy (dysphagia therapy, language skills, swallowing enhancement)
- Occupational Therapy (adaptive equipment training, home evaluation, positioning, therapeutic exercise, splinting)
- Rehabilitation for Long Term Care (grooming, bathing, toileting)
